Cole Easdon Consultants is one of the UK’s leading civil engineering consultancies, with an enviable reputation for quality, reliability, customer service and value.  We offer our clients a comprehensive range of Water Management, Environment, Civil Engineering and Transport Planning services from our offices in Bristol, Swindon and Warrington.

Cole Easdon’s Environment division produce reports that enable our clients to achieve the mandatory elements and gain the necessary credits for the SUR1 and SUR2 parts of the Code for Sustainable Homes at a competitive price.

SUR1 (Surface Water Run-off) is a mandatory requirement.  Our SUR1 report will include a simple flood risk assessment, recommendations on how to achieve the mandatory elements (soakaways, attenuation etc), peak rate of run-off pre and post development compliant with the Interim Code of Practice for Sustainable Drainage systems (SUDS) (CIRIA, 2004), volume of run-off (pre and post development) and water quality (2 credits available).

Our SUR2 (Flood Risk) consists of the production of a brief report showing compliance with CSH criteria for developments in Flood Zone 1 (2 credits available).  For developments in Flood Zones 2 & 3 we produce a more detailed FRA report fully compliant with Planning Policy 25 (PPS25) ‘Development and Flood Risk’ (1 credit available) and liaise with the Planning Authority and Environment Agency.
