Services we offer:

Category 4 - Management of Surface Water Run-off from developments

RAB Consultants have experience in producing reports showing how to fulfil the mandatory elements and gain the credits available for Sur1 (Surface Water Run-off) and Sur2 (Flood Risk).

Sur1 (Surface Water Run-off)

Surface Water run-off (mandatory requirement), this includes:

· Peak Rate of Run-off pre and post development (Compliant with Interim Code of Practice for Sustainable Drainage systems (SUDS) (CIRIA, 2004);

· Volume of Run-off (Pre and post development);

· Recommendations on how to achieve the mandatory elements (soakaways, attenuation);

· Simple Flood Risk Assessment (Mandatory under Sur 1).

SUDS Design (2 credits available), this includes:

· Report detailing the full design specifications, calculations and drawings to obtain the additional 2 credits available under CSH criteria;

· Liaison with the Local Authority, Environment Agency and other relevant bodies.

 

Sur 2 (Flood Risk)

Our Flood Risk Assessments are fully compliant with Planning Policy 25 (PPS25) ‘Development and Flood Risk’.

 

Developments in Flood Zone 1 (2 credits available), this includes:

· Production of a brief report showing compliance with CSH criteria.

 

Developments in Flood Zones 2&3 (1 credits available), this includes:

· Production of a more detailed FRA report fully compliant with Planning Policy 25 (PPS25) ‘Development and Flood Risk’;

· Liaison with Planning Authority and Environment Agency.
